The springtime festival of Viré-Clessé wines 18-19 April
On the occasion of the 17th springtime festival of Viré-Clessé Wines, the Phoenix Wine Club is ready to receive members. As for the Hospices de Beaune wine auction, this Burgundy event will be the occasion to welcome you to the Chateau, and to organise an unforgettable weekend.
THE SPRINGTIME FESTIVAL OF VIRE CLESSE WINES
Every April, the wine-growers of Viré-Clessé open their doors to visistors in each of the villages. On the programme: wine-tasting, discovery of the terroirs and sharing moments with the wine-growers in person. With a festive ambience, visitors are invited to learn more about a typical wine-growing district in the south of Burgundy – close to the original village of Chardonnay. More than 30 cellars will open their doors during the two days, with music and good food on offer. Visitors may take special little trains that will travel through the vineyards, from cellar to cellar, offering a magical panorama of the Maconais countryside.
